Senior Financial Aid Night

The 2010 Senior Financial Aid Night sponsored by MEFA was very valuable for parents. The night was well attended with over 130 parents. Many topics pertaining to the financial aid process were covered. Numerous parents inquired about the College Cost Estimator on the MEFA Web-site. Clicke here for an additional College Cost Estimator that was just recently posted by the New York Times. Parents are reminded about the previous blog post last month in regard to College Goal Sunday. College Goal Sunday is a non-profit program that provides free information and assistance to Massachusetts families applying for financial assistance for higher education. This year the event will be held in Wakefield, MA on February 3, 2010.

For parents that missed the presentation Financial Aid Night will be televised on BCAT On-Demand ( schedule will be released soon). Also you can find the PowerPoint by clicking here. Please stop by the Guidance office if you would like a hard copy of the powerpoint presentation.
Please don't fret if you are a parent of a grade 9, 10 or 11 BHS student. The BHS Guidance Department will sponsor another Financial Aid Seminar on May 13, 2010.
